Tetrosyl 1K Cellulose High Build Primer 5L

A high build, fast drying and easy to sand cellulose primer surfacer.

Excellent adhesion to bare metal

Cellulose primer dries to a smooth finish and is suitable for use under most topcoat finishes.

N.B. Etch primer is recommended for use on Aluminium and Galvanised surfaces.

As standard primer it can be mixed with cellulose thinners 1:1 or as a primer filler 1.5:1

Product sitting about for 4 years. This stuff does not have infinite shelf life. Primer dries to the touch but does not cure properly and clogs paper while sanding. No longer easy sand. With the time is takes much faster to use 2k primer.I have experience with products like this with 30 years in the refinish trade. Glad it was just metal framing I was priming.

    While it is good to get a large container of filler the consistency is very thick and difficult to mix. If does sand down quite well but not smooth to apply which creates a more difficult surface. Ok, but for me personally I would not buy again.
