Has worked really well

Has worked really well
I'm really happy with how everything has grown in this this year. I've used it for growing seedlings as well as potting on. I bought it because I wanted a peat free compost and to avoid having to lug big bags of compost from the shops, which are often wet and past its best. I've read however that coir potentially isn't a sustainable option after all, it seems to be disputed. Can't fault it though otherwise.

Let it absorb the water in a large bucket and you may need a little more water than stated. I found that it was excellent for my seeds and potting on nursery plants. A little expensive but the best coir product I have used, 'you get what you pay for'. Because it is dehydrated I am keeping some for next year's seeds as it was not available this year when I started propagation. This comes as a very compact package

Coco Fibre in any form is simply the best and these organic bricks are a step up in class. Used with hydroponics I would still add a fair bit of perlite thoe for more frequent watering and faster larger growth with canna organic coir multi part fertilizer and their excellent range 'of boosters to suit any growing situation of flowers fruits and vegetables or just the basic nutrients and the coir on its own for decorative potted plants in or outside the house
THE DIFFERENCE IN GROWTH AND HEALTH IS STUNNING! The price and size of each block excellent too cant recomend anything else even close to this product it's simply AMAZING!

    This is amazing stuff.

I no longer have to move sacks of compost which get wet and mouldy if not used. I put the block into a 75L trug and add rain water, a couple of cans' worth to start. I can then decant into smaller trugs. Best to cover it in this rainy weather. I left it out uncovered but can easily remedy that by mixing in some dry.

Expensive, but I buy it on Subscribe & Save and I am not having to pay the garden centre to deliver sacks of compost and put my back out to get them into the garden.
